Edgar Cayce Foundation
BACKGROUND
The Edgar Cayce Foundation was created to preserve the complete body of work of Edgar Cayce, including lectures, writings and other records. They are a growing resource for researchers and writers, and maintain a membership base that has access to many of these resources via the Internet.
WEB HOSTING REQUIREMENTS
The Edgar Cayce Foundation needed a parner to host their growing collection of websites, databases and vast amount of content, and provide .NET developer expertise on-demand. Access to a continual supply of bandwidth and disk space was needed to support their growing web presence.
IT REQUIREMENTS
The foundation also required significant expertise in managing, maintaining and improving the IT environment at their corporate offices. We were able to work with and augment their existing IT staff to solve migration and upgrade challenges while increasing reliability and security of their network.
WEB HOSTING IMPLEMENTATION
Solutrix placed the Edgar Cayce Foundation's web presence on a load-balanced web farm. Provisioning requests are routed through network operations and quickly processed, providing the Edgar Cayce Foundation with effortless additions to their hosting capacity.
IT IMPLEMENTATION
By implementing server monitoring, ticketing and providing responsive 24x7 support to the foundation's corporate offices we were able to increase efficiency and improve the experience of internal customers.
