Ever dreamed of giving your employees videoconferencing capability built right into their hardphones? Our Videophone and IP Telephony solutions make this a reality, whether you have 2 employees or 200.
There is no need to struggle with webcams and software as you would if using your PC to videoconference - our phones work just like a normal one, except they have videoconferencing built right in.
With our HomePBX service, you can have a private videoconferencing system tying your whole family together - whether they live overseas, across the street, or anywhere broadband internet access is available.
How It Works
We provide 2 or more easy to use videophones, which you can then place at the desired locations. When you makea call, the videophone automatically connects to one of our Home PBX data centers over the internet.
Simply plug our full-sized videophones with LCD screen into the network at your office, home, home-office, hotel, or anywhere a broadband internet connection is available - and it just works!
The videophone will enable to you to dial your colleagues and speak to them as if you were face-to-face. It automatically connects to servers in our data center which routes calls and handles voicemail and other telephony functions.
Q: I don't want to purchase a hosted service - can I still use your videophones?
A: Yes. We can deploy our videoconferencing solution onsite if you prefer. We normally recommend our hosted service because the core infrastructure is in a well protected datacenter with high uptime. But some clients may want to host the solution from their main office. We can deploy the system and let you manage it, or we can manage it remotely (including support, adds/changes, monitoring, maintenance etc.)
Q: How much does it cost?
A: There is an affordable flat monthly rate for each extension (or phone). The exact amount varies depending on how the system is implemented, how many phone lines, minutes available, etc. We'll give you a speedy quote - just contact us using the information on the right.
Q: Can you provide videophones without modifying our existing PBX?
A: Yes. Our system does not have to tie into any of your existing phone lines and systems unless you want it to. It is an affordable way to add video conferencing capability to one or more offices. In fact, using the videophones alongside your existing phones is the fastest and most affordable way to start videoconferencing.
Q: What kind of internet connection is required?
A: A broadband internet connection. We recommend a standard Cable broadband internet connection, and T-1/T-3 connections at many offices also work well. DSL will also work, but is not always as reliable. Dial-up is not supported.
Q: Do you provide the videophones? Can I choose/purchase my own videophones?
A: Yes. You can purchase the phones we provide outright, which results in a reduces monthly rate for the service. Contact us with the make and model of your desired phone and we'll tell you if it's supported.
Q: We have multiple offices linked by site-to-site VPN. Will the videophones still work?
A: Yes. The telephony traffic can travel over the internet if the solution is externally hosted, or over your site-to-site VPNs if hosted onsite.
