OUR LOCATIONS
Norfolk
Our network is directly attached to Cox Communication's core network which has access to multiple Internet backbones via BGP routing. Through our partnership with Cox Communications, we can provision any amount of bandwidth. Whether your application calls for 1 Mbps, unmetered 10/100 Ethernet, or a larger connection, we can supply the bandwidth you need. Our own network core's switching is handled by a mix of HP ProCurve and Foundry switches.
Vienna
In Vienna, our standard available bandwidth is a BGP-routed blend of Level3 + Global Crossing (multi-homed). Higher cost is offset by the high reliability and uptime that properly managed multi-homed bandwidth provides. Cross-connects are generally available for the following bandwidth providers: Cogent Communications, Level3, AboveNet, MCI Worldcom, OnFiber Communications, Qwest Communications International, Verizon, XO Communications, COX Business. Other providers may be available - contact us for a complete list.
COMPANY ASSETS
As a growing and profitable company, we own and operate all of our servers and equipment. We do not lease servers from a 3rd party or re-sell web hosting or servers unless it somehow benefits the customer.
Our primary server hardware vendor is Hewlett-Packard/Compaq, but we also utilize other brands (such as Dell) depending on the application. Unlike some hosting companies, we do not follow the risky practice of provisioning "desktop PCs" as servers for mission critical roles; we take our customers' data and applications seriously and avoid practices that may cause downtime and lost revenue.
