Transparent email encryption
With Zix, all customers are members of the ZixDirectory, meaning they can send secure email to each other completely transparently. The message arrives in the recipient’s inbox just like a regular email would; no portals, no passwords and no extra steps. Automatic content scanning
Let’s face it, humans make mistakes. Zix’s automatic content scanning capabilities take this into account. Each outbound email is scanned for sensitive information (PHI, credit card numbers, social security numbers, etc.) including the subject line, body and attachment(s). If present, these emails are automatically encrypted. If there are terms and phrases unique to your business, they can be added to the Zix lexicon and trigger automatic encryption. And Zix offers organizations the ability to manually encrypt by establishing a keyword that can be added to the email, Zix’s solution will always scan the email just to make sure sensitive information is encrypted.
Branding
Recipients can view email in their regular mailbox if they are part of the Zix network of customers or if their email application has TLS enabled. Otherwise, they are directed to a portal to view and send secure email. This portal can be branded to your company for maximum exposure.
